What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most major PPO plans including Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, Premera Blue Cross, Regence, United Concordia, and Guardian. We're not in-network with HMO/DMO plans, but many out-of-network benefits still apply. Call us at (360) 555-6644 with your plan details and we'll verify coverage before your appointment.
Do you offer a membership plan for uninsured patients?
Yes — our in-house Clearwater Smile Plan is $32/month per adult ($22/month for kids under 14). It covers two cleanings, two exams, and routine x-rays each year, plus a 20% discount on all other treatments. There's no insurance company in the middle, no waiting periods, and no annual maximum.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes! We're welcoming new patients of all ages. New-patient appointments typically have availability within 2–3 weeks. Emergency visits are often same-day.
What ages do you treat?
We're a true family practice — we treat everyone from first-tooth toddlers to seniors. Our pediatric hygienist, Mia, specializes in kids and anxious patients of all ages.
How does same-day crowns work?
Using CEREC technology, we take a 3D scan of your tooth, design the crown on a computer, mill it from a single block of ceramic in our office, and bond it in place — all in one visit, usually under two hours. No goopy impressions, no temporary crown, no second appointment.
Do you see kids?
Absolutely. We see kids starting from their first tooth (usually around 12 months). We tailor every visit to make it positive — short, gentle, and full of encouragement.
Do you offer Invisalign or other orthodontic options?
Yes. Dr. Patel is a certified Invisalign provider and we offer free consultations including a 3D scan and a custom treatment plan. Most cases run 6–18 months.
What if I have a dental emergency?
Call (360) 555-6644 as early in the day as you can. If you reach us before noon, we'll almost always see you the same day. After hours, our voicemail provides instructions for urgent issues.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Yes. We work with CareCredit and Sunbit for 0% interest plans on most treatments. We also accept all major cards, FSA/HSA, and offer a 5% discount when you pay your treatment plan in full upfront.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Plan on about 75 minutes. We'll review your health history, take digital x-rays, do a full exam and cleaning, and finish with a clear written treatment plan and pricing. No surprises, no pressure.
Do you use digital x-rays?
Yes — all our imaging is digital, which uses up to 90% less radiation than traditional film x-rays and gives us instant high-resolution images.
Where are you located?
We're at 8800 NE Vancouver Mall Dr, Vancouver, WA 98662 — just off I-205, with plenty of free parking. We're easy to reach from Salmon Creek, Hazel Dell, Orchards, and Camas.
What are your hours?
Monday through Thursday 7am–5pm, and Friday 7am–1pm. We offer early-morning appointments so you can be in and out before work.
Do you offer sedation for anxious patients?
We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for adults and children, which wears off in minutes. For more anxious patients we can discuss oral sedation options during your consultation.
